We’re surviving the summer heat — and hoping to have air conditioning soon! Meanwhile, here’s the latest newsletter with some tips on how to keep your cool on those 90+-degree days, by Candace Worrick, and all the news that’s fit to print — or that fits in print 🙂

Faith in Recovery has been canceled for the month. Marlys is recovering from a broken arm, and won’t be able to drive for some time.

The storm sewer construction is making access to JAK’s a little more difficult. Our back driveway to 8th Avenue is blocked; only the front entrance is available. Our neighbors are using the front drive too, so be carefull of the extra traffic.

Your sometimes-alert webmistress thought that it was about time for a little redecoration. One gets tired of the same old colors after a while. 🙂
