2014 is nearly over. But don’t get so carried away by the mad holiday rush that you lose sight of the happiness.
Holidays can get out of hand. What should be a bright moment in the yearly cycle of life sometimes becomes too demanding, disrupting healthy routines while adding heavy burdens. We need to welcome the joy, not try to force it.
Sit down and relax. Have a cup of tea or eggnog and read a newsletter.

The annual CSP Holiday Party, at Hope church on December 18, from 11am to 2:30pm, will also be a celebration of Paul Klapatch’s retirement. Come and give him a big hand. Paul has worked “like a Belgian horse” (to quote the late Gabriele Wolfe) for many years, often on call at all hours during an otherwise taxing work week. Starting January 2, he will be able to sleep at night!
