Here comes August already, starting off with an Art Group field trip to Woodwalk Galleries on Wednesday, August 1. Please sign up if interested; anyone can come. The group will leave JAK’s Place at 1:00.
The CSP Picnic is on Friday, August 3. Gathering at 11, lunch at noon. JAK’s will be open an hour late and there will be no Faith in Recovery that day.
The quilt raffle goes on! Pass the word, tickets available at JAK’s. Imagine spending $5 and winning a beautiful hand-made quilt.
The combined NAMI-JAK’s newsletter is early. We are stepping up the pace again. This month’s big events are the annual NAMI Picnic on Monday, July 9, and our second Brat Fry of the year on the 27-28-29 weekend. JAK’s Place will be closed on July 4, and there will be no dinner on the 10th; otherwise, hours will be normal.
Because of the picnic, there will be no Support Group on the 9th, and there will be only one Yoga class this month, on the 23rd.
The picnic will be at Otumba Park, as always. Gathering begins at 5, dinner at 5:30. Brats, burgers and beverages are on the house. Bring a dish to share and enjoy a breezy, relaxed social gather.
